Shanna Linn discovered yoga a bit late in life but fell in love with the practice as an effective tool to navigate challenging change with a sense of harmony. She has been studying and practicing yoga since 1998, and teaching since 2000. Once an aspiring ashtanga practitioner, her practice was sidelined with a serious back injury. Since then she has studied anatomy, adaptive practices for asana, and pranayama (breath work) and meditation to find healing and joy in the practice of yoga.

Reclaim your breath, establish alignment, bring ease to your nervous system, and melt away aches and pains in a gentle yoga class that is appropriate for beginners of any age, for those living with injuries (which can be compounded with age), and for anyone seeking a pain-free, rejuvenating practice. Yoga is a 5000 year-old system of self-care, and this class explores its benefits to rehabilitate injuries, diminish stiffness, and move energy to create ease and joy in the body, mind, and spirit. The class is adapted for anyone to participate; props and modifications are an essential aspect, as is the inspiration drawn from practicing together.
