Facilitator Profile

Im a puertorican island born living in Chicago, hoping to share this practice with the many.  I started practicing yoga when pregnant, almost 12 yrs ago, kept practicing on and off until I decided to start my certification process in 2013 and commit to the practice and myself. I got my yoga instructor and perfect health certification RYT300 hrs in 2014 with Samadhi Yoga and Ayurveda Institute in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and patient, on and off the mat, with myself and others. Yoga inspires me to live every moment more mindfully, to be more in the present moment. 

 

I will always be a student of the practice and I am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me. 

 

In my classes I like to combine fun and creative sequences, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help you love your practice. My hope is that you step off the mat refreshed, nourished and balanced.

Yoga En Español

Una práctica balanceada con modificaciones para todos los niveles. Basada en los principios terapéuticos del hatha yoga tradicional en un formato moderno. Crea un balance entre los cinco koshas (cuerpos) de la tradición vèdica: cuerpo físico, energético, emocional, intelectual y espiritual para lograr un estado de balance y salud óptima. Consiste de concientización de la respiración, movimientos somáticos suaves y fluidos para calentar el cuerpo y soltar agarres innecesarios, ejercicios de respiración, posturas de pie y de piso con énfasis en alineamiento y seguridad, relajación profunda para terminar. Los beneficios primarios son el alivio de estrés, promueve descansos más profundos y ayuda a desarrollar una mayor capacidad de enfoque.
