Carrie believes yoga is a healing tool that connects our mind, body, and spirit. One of her teachers, Gabriel Halpern says “the issues are in the tissues”. She strives to create a safe space where students can deepen their practice and is very excited to guide others through the yoga journey. She specializes in prenatal and postpartum yoga having trained through the Amala School of Prenatal Yoga, and loves to empower, support, and connect women through yoga.
Carrie also has her Master Level Usui Reiki certification and loves integrating energy work into her yoga sessions.

>>> beginner friendly (B), gentle (G), prenatal friendly (P)
Give yourself space to breathe and relax. This class involves deep stretch yin postures to soften with, passive restorative poses to melt in, and doses of reiki throughout the class. Reiki is a Japanese hands-on healing modality that transmits through a practitioner's' hands to the receiver. Slow yoga and Reiki both promote relaxation, stress relief, and create balance within the body and mind. Come as you are (with extra comfortable clothes).
